It is said that the legendary baseball player Babe Ruth (1895 - 1948) once downed 24 Hot Dogs between
games of double header.
Actor Bruce Willis found a hot dog stand the perfect location to propose to his wife, actress Demi Moore.
The world's longest hot dog was
1,996 feet,
made in honour
of the 1996 Oympics.
In 1995, three Seattle Seahawk
football players, including quarterback Rick Meier, were fined $1,000
each for eating hot dogs on the sidelines of a pre-season game.
The smell of wieners wafting down
from the stands was simply
irresistible to the hungry players.
