'Pandies’ theatre brings you the iconic French playwright Jean Genet’s most famous play – The Blacks: A Clown Show. Grounding itself in the relationship of ‘Blacks’ to ‘whites’, the play explores the space between the minority and the majority. The play is directed by Sanjay Kumar, who has earlier directed the Genet’s The Balcony twice for Delhi’s stage. The presentation is an experiment in form. The ‘white’ court speaks from the screen and the ‘black’ performers from the stage in a unique interactive intermingling of a live onscreen and onstage performance.
