DANCE | Saroja Mohanam. Tribute to one of the legends of Bharatanatyam, veteran guru M.K.Saroja Khokar. A pioneer in her field, she helped internationalise the dance form in the 1960s. M.K. Saroja’s contribution will be celebrated through performances by eminent dancers, Alarmel Valli, Leela Samson and Madhavi Mudgal. Kuchipudi gurus, Raja and Radha Reddy will contextualise through an expert introduction and opening by Dr.Sachchidanand Joshi, head of the IGNCA. Oral tribute by Shovana Narayan, Meera Das, Nalini and Kamalini, Saroja Vaidyanathan and Rajendra Gangani.
